From Kraft Foods
An amazingly easy and delicious ice cream cake!!! I took it to a BBQ and everyone loved it!!!
1/2 cup fudge ice cream topping warmed
1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip thawed
1 package (4 serving size) Chocolate flavor instant pudding and pie filling
8 oreo cookies plus some to crush
12 vanilla ice cream sandwiches
Pour the fudge into a medium bowl.
Stir in 1 cup of the cool whip with a wisk until blended.
Add in the dry pudding mix. Stir until well blended.
Chop to oreos into chunks and stir into pudding
Arrange 4 of the sandwiches side by side on a 24x12 inch piece of foil.
Top with half of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers.
Top the pudding mixture with the last 4 sandwiches.
Frost the top and sides with the reset of the Cool whip.
Crush up the extra oreos and sprinkle them on the top. (my addition)
Bring up the sides of the foil and double fold the ends.
Freeze at least 4 hours before serving.
Store in the freezer after serving.
Makes 12 servings, but I didn't get that many :)
